Tom Peters is a UK-based producer, engineer, and musician, best known for his work with heavy, alternative, and experimental rock bands. Since graduating in 2009, he has built an extensive career in both studio production and performance. From 2011 to 2017, he managed The Grand Studio in Clitheroe, before founding Trapdoor Studio in Liverpool in 2019, where he continues to operate as a full-time producer.

Peters specialises in guitar-focused, experimental rock music, and has worked in studios across the UK and Ireland, amassing a deep well of experience across genres. His credits include acclaimed acts such as The Fall, Vennart, Empire State Bstrd, Grace Davies, Lakes, Bicurious, and The Last Vinci, among hundreds of others. Known for capturing raw energy and emotional weight, he brings a signature blend of clarity, punch, and live-sounding authenticity to his productions. His collaborative, artist-centred approach makes him a go-to for bands seeking both edge and honesty in their recordings.

In addition to his production work, Tom is a touring musician and recording artist with his band Alpha Male Tea Party, signed to Big Scary Monsters. The band has released several records and performed at major UK festivals including ArcTanGent, Portals, and Truck Festival, further cementing Tom’s presence in the UK’s alternative rock landscape. Now in the Narrow Door family since February 2025
